Many have asked my why we aerify late in the season. This picture is a perfect example. The holes that stayed open all winter allowed water to be channel off of the green surface. The more water we remove from the surface the less chance of ice build up. We won't have a definite answer on how we made it through winter for a few weeks yet. I will let everyone know how we fared.
