After one full week of construction it turns out that we are 3 days ahead of schedule. This is great for us so that we can get as much work done on the course when it is not raining. So far 11 to 13 are rough shaped ready for topsoil and drain lines, which is going in today. After that work is completed they will be continuing on the work on 14 complex. We have not had any major delays in the construction and I would like to keep it that way. My management crew and the construction operators are working together to create the best product for all of Glen Oak. This is essential for the project to run smoothly. It looks like we are going to have another great week to get work completed on the course. We are going to keep going so we can hopefully finish as early as we possibly can. I will be taking pictures and posting them in the area to the right of this page. Just click on what hole you want to look at and they will come up through my Flikr account. My wife will be taking better pictures with her camera on a daily basis, I will post them as well.
here are the work phases for the bunker project. The best way we thought to handle the project was to get the longest material hauls and wettest areas finished first so that there is not too much collateral damage from equipment. They are not set in stone and my change due to weather:
Phase 1 - 11, 12, 13, 14
Phase 2 - 2, 10, 15, 18
Phase 3 - 1, 5, 16, 17
Phase 4 - 3, 4, 6, 9
Phase 5 - 7, 8, Short Game Area
Projected finish date of construction: November 28, 2013
