There were a few questions about green speeds yesterday. The greens were not as fast as they normally are because of the rain that was recived. Also with predicted temperatures of 85+ for four straight days I decided to be safe and not push the greens under stressful conditions. All that being said the green were still a 10 for speed. This with very saturated soil an thick humidity. I would rather be safe than sorry.
Now that the weather is just about past us we will be ramping up conditions for the summer championship next weekend. Then we will back off for a week and the speed everything back up for the Maddock in 3 weeks.
I hope this gives a better explanation of the conditions out there. Thanks again.
